I hope you're happy a lovely weekend.
After saving up I treated myself to a camera instead of buying anything in the January sales.
It's a Canon EOS 1000D SLR. I must admit, I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet but on first impression the quality is fantastic and I like the fact that it's light to carry.
Here's some practice shots taken before the Christmas decorations came down, always a sad moment!
And a couple of other textures and items around the house:
I'm particulalry pleased with the close ups our bedroom's beaded lampshade. I really like interpreting patterns and textures in close up.
I decided to use of of the images for my new blog banner using the free editing software that came with the camera. I hope you like it!

ReplyDelete@Imo - thanks love! Hmmm, I would suggest going to somewhere like Jessops for a chat then you could have a look around online. I think Nikon and Canon's are the two top brands x
